These sessions are functional, engaging, and designed to help you get the most out of your body as you age. While they’re programmed with osteoporosis‑safe principles and the needs of seniors in mind, they’re open to everyone — and we’re a friendly bunch.
Stretch & Mobility Classes
Slow, spacious classes designed to release tension, improve flexibility, and support ease in daily movement.
Matwork Pilates
Flow‑based classes that explore and refine the Pilates repertoire. Expect mindful sequencing, skill development, and the satisfaction of gradually mastering the work.
And of course… fun
Movement should feel good. Expect a warm atmosphere, a few laughs, and a space where you can enjoy being in your body.

Getting started is simple. If you’re ready and don’t have any questions, you can book an initial Studio Pilates appointment at a time that suits you. Once you’re booked in, you’ll receive a confirmation email along with a short form to complete before your session.

1. Introduction
Welcome to Niyama Pilates. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, services, and interactions made through our online scheduling system (Acuity Scheduling) or directly with me. By booking a session, you agree to these Terms, which are designed to keep things clear, respectful, and transparent.
2. Bookings
Bookings can be made online via Acuity Scheduling or by contacting me directly.
When booking online, you will receive an automatic email confirmation from Acuity. SMS reminders are sent as a courtesy before your appointment.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 6 hours before the session start time.
Cancellations or changes made after this window may result in the full session fee being charged.
No‑shows are charged at 100% of the session fee.
If I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time.
4. Payments
Packages and promotional offers must be paid for at the time of online purchase through Acuity.
Casual appointments may be paid for in cash at the studio. Please bring the correct change.
All prices are listed in AUD and may be updated from time to time. Price changes do not affect existing confirmed bookings.
Receipts for online purchases are automatically emailed to you by Acuity.
5. Packages, Passes & Expiry
Packages, passes, and promotional offers may have specific terms, including expiry dates.
Expired sessions are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
Packages cannot be shared unless explicitly stated.
Participation, Safety & Liability
6. Acknowledgement of Risk
By participating in Pilates sessions with Niyama Pilates, you acknowledge that Pilates exercises—including matwork and small apparatus—require physical movement that may place stress on muscles, joints, and bones. You understand that participation, including in group or community settings, carries inherent risks such as injury, soreness, muscle strain, or aggravation of pre‑existing conditions.
You agree that it is your responsibility to listen to your body, modify or stop any exercise that causes discomfort or pain, and seek medical advice if you have concerns before or during participation.
7. Health & Medical Information
You confirm that you have disclosed any known medical conditions, injuries, or concerns that may affect your ability to participate safely.
If you have a condition or injury that may impact your participation, you agree to consult your healthcare provider before attending sessions and provide medical clearance if requested.
You agree to inform the instructor immediately if you experience discomfort, pain, or injury during a class.
8. Release & Waiver of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Niyama Pilates, its instructors, contractors, and agents from liability for injuries, accidents, or losses that may occur as a result of your participation in Pilates sessions or related activities, including personal injury or damage to personal property.
This waiver extends to claims arising from ordinary negligence or other causes, except where such exclusion is not permitted under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
9. Consent to Participate
By attending a session, you confirm that you are voluntarily participating in Pilates classes with Niyama Pilates. You are encouraged to ask questions and seek clarification about any exercise or movement.
You also consent to the use of photos, videos, or recordings taken during classes for marketing or promotional purposes, unless you notify Niyama Pilates in writing that you prefer not to be photographed or recorded.
General Terms
10. Personal Information & Privacy
Your personal information is collected for scheduling, communication, and service delivery.
Acuity securely stores your booking details and contact information.
Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not be shared except where required by law or necessary to deliver our services.
11. Studio Etiquette
Please arrive on time and wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement.
Mobile phones do not need to be on silent, but please keep volume low to maintain a calm environment.
Please respect the shared space and equipment.
12. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are protected.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.
You are entitled to a remedy if a service is not provided with due care and skill, is not fit for purpose, or is not delivered within a reasonable time.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or modifies your consumer rights.
13. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website or scheduling page. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any updated Terms.
